Day 10

An early start with a brisk walk down the beach at Hossegor watching the sufers and looking at the old gun emplacements, we spent most of the day relaxing in the sun or out on the bodyboard in the surf. On the late afternoon after not being able to get a place booked for horse riding, we drove down to Biarritz town, this was more like it for me, shops glore! After a few hairy scary moments, squeezing the van down narrow roads and tight tunnels in the middle of town (oops small navigational error by me there!) we found the aire de camping car to stay for the night.
