Day 55

Today was another scorcher, about 34 degrees and we had a big drive ahead of us. We drove through some beautiful scenery, up some serious mountain roads which were taking some toll on us and the van. The brakes were getting very hot at one point so we pulled over to examine them and have some lunch, as you can guess knowing that the brakes are burning hot I still decided to touch the disc to see just how hot…. so I now have no finger print left on my index finger. We finally decide to stop a few miles out of Chamonix at a place called St-Gervais-les-Bains.
