Day 56

After a heavy down pour of rain last night we awoke to a dull and cloudy day, the first one really for a long time so it took a bit getting used to. We drove into Chamonix to check out what we could do over the next few days, after a chat with the tourist info guide we decided that we would be better leaving it for a day or so before going up the mountain as the weather was to get better later in the week, so just settled for a walk around the town to get our bearings. We decided to head back to St-Gervais-les-Bains for the evening as we could possibly go horse ridding tomorrow morning local to there.
